17.9 Million Views From 81 Property Reels

We analyzed 81 Reels on a property client’s Instagram account. Together they had 17.9 million views, with 82.5% coming from three videos. The results show the size of a breakout video’s opportunity and why a clear offer, contact capture and sales follow-up belong in the campaign from the start.

A Breakout Video Can Change the Scale of a Campaign

One property Reel had more than 12 million Instagram views. Across 81 Reels on the same client account, the total reached 17.9 million.

For a business, that creates a valuable opportunity: people are discovering the product at a scale a sales team could never reach one conversation at a time. A campaign needs a useful next step ready for the people who want to know more.

We analyzed the complete set of currently retrievable Reels published on a client’s account (YukiHomes) during August and September 2026. The study uses Instagram view counts observed on October 16. Here is what the results show, and how we would use them to plan the whole campaign.

The Results at a Glance

Measure Result
Reels analyzed 81
Total Instagram views 17,856,785
Share of views from the largest Reel 68.6%
Share of views from the top three Reels 82.5%
Median Reel views 22,213

The top Reel produced 68.6% of views, the next two produced 13.9%, and the other 78 produced 17.5%.

The big lesson is the difference a breakout can make. Three videos account for most of the attention in this group. The other 78 still contributed more than three million views between them.

Build the Next Step Before the Video Takes Off

A property video can make someone curious about prices, locations and available homes. Offer a useful answer while they are interested.

For this client, the campaign connects a property video to a free list of homes in Japan. A viewer comments a keyword, continues in DMs and can share an email address to receive the list. The captured information reaches the client’s customer database, where the sales conversation can continue.

That is a concrete reason to respond. Someone can explore the properties before deciding whether to speak with the team. Someone ready to act has a route to getting started or booking a conversation.

The full client case study explains the offer, automated conversation and follow-up. Its broader account results have a different scope from this 81-post Instagram dataset.

Why We Look Beyond the Average

Dividing the total by 81 gives an average of roughly 220,000 views per Reel. The median is 22,213: half the Reels have fewer views and half have more.

Both numbers describe the same campaign. The average reflects the contribution of the biggest videos; the median makes the distribution easier to understand. A business planning a campaign should be prepared for that variation.

Our recommendation is to develop and test multiple promising ideas, learn from the strongest responses, and keep a useful offer available across the campaign. When a video breaks out, its next step should already work.

Connect Attention to a Business Result

For a property business, the meaningful result might be a conversation with a suitable buyer, a completed application or a sale. Choose that destination first, then connect the stages that lead to it.

  1. Make the right people interested. Use the video to answer a question, reveal an opportunity or show something the customer wants to understand.
  2. Give them a useful reason to respond. A property list, buying guide or relevant comparison can help them take the next step.
  3. Capture the information needed to continue. Explain what they will receive and collect the details needed to deliver it or answer their question.
  4. Make the offer and follow-up relevant. Help people browse, ask questions, book a conversation or start buying, according to their situation.
  5. Improve the stages where suitable buyers stop. Track contact capture, qualified inquiries, held conversations and completed sales alongside the content.

The opportunity is to build a repeatable connection between the audience the videos attract and the customers the business wants. Strong creative work and a well-designed sales journey support each other.

What This Study Measures

This is a study of one Japan property account, using first-party Meta Graph API readings. It includes every currently retrievable owned Reel with a publication timestamp from August 1 through September 30, 2026, using UTC boundaries. All 81 eligible posts returned view counts.

The counts are lifetime Instagram views observed on October 16, rather than views earned only during the publication window. The posts have different ages. Views can include repeat viewing, so they are not a unique audience count. Deleted or otherwise inaccessible historical posts fall outside the retrievable inventory.

The data does not separate paid and organic exposure or link individual Reels to contacts, meetings or sales. It is an original account-level case, not a benchmark for every property business or a promise of future results. Facebook views are outside this dataset.

The downloadable CSV contains only public post links, publication timestamps and the observed view counts. It contains no customer contact details or private CRM records.

Put the Results to Work

If your content brings people in but the path to an inquiry is unclear, start there. Identify what a potential customer wants next, make the offer specific, and connect it to a sales process your team can use.

Use our content-to-sales scorecard to assess your campaign, or tell us about your business. We create the videos and the automated funnel, then keep improving the route from attention to customers.

Frequently asked questions

How many views did the 81 property Reels receive?

The 81 Reels had 17,856,785 lifetime Instagram views when observed on October 16, 2026. They were published between August 1 and September 30. The total is not a count of views earned only during those two months.

Do these views prove how many buyers a Reel generated?

The post dataset measures views. It does not match individual viewers to contacts, meetings or purchases. Those outcomes need campaign and sales records with a reliable connection between them.
